
Healing Process:

Color will appear darker initially and may lighten by 30–50%

Flaking and dryness are normal

Full healing takes approximately 2–3 weeks
Before Your Appointment

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil) for 24–48 hours prior
-
Discontinue use of Retinol, Retin-A, or Vitamin A products at least 3 weeks before
-
Avoid chemical peels, facials, or laser treatments for 2–4 weeks prior
-
No Botox or fillers in the treatment area for at least 2 weeks before
-
Do not come in with sunburn, irritation, or compromised skin
-
Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning before and after your appointment

If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule

Not eligible for treatment if:

Pregnant or breastfeeding
-
On Accutane within the last 12 months
-
Active skin infection or irritation in the treatment area
Aftercare Instructions
Proper aftercare is critical for healing and final results.

Keep the area clean for the first 24 hours. This is an open wound and can get infected
-
Avoid touching the treated area with unclean hands
-
Do not pick, scratch, or peel — allow natural healing
-
Avoid sweating, swimming, saunas, and hot tubs for 7–10 days
-
Avoid makeup on the treated area until healed
-
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning during healing
-
Do not apply active skincare (retinol, acids)
-
Apply a very thin layer of aftercare ointment using clean hands
-
Use 2–3 times per day for the first 7 days
-
Only apply enough to lightly hydrate the area — do NOT over-apply
-
The area should not look greasy or heavy
-
Overuse can:
-
Block oxygen to the skin
-
Cause poor pigment retention
-
Lead to irritation or breakouts

Before Applying

Gently cleanse the area with:

Clean water OR

Mild, fragrance-free cleanser

Pat dry with a clean tissue — do not rub
